(580x435, 48Kb)  Born in Paris in 1947,  Christian studied graphic arts and print making for four years before his move to Montreal in 1968.  He started his professional painting career in 1975 and joined Gallery Jean-Pierre Valentin three years later. Using hyper realism, he creates a world mixing dreams and reality, using layers of acrylic on canvas.   His unique style, the mountains and trees, the lakes and rivers, the rocks and flowers are his own personal recreation of the nature that surrounds him at his home in the Eastern Townships. His paintings can be found in many corporate and museum collections in Canada as well as the United States.
