Cheng Jiguang, a first-class painter, born in 1956 in Chongqing, is a contemporary excellent oil painter. He is the academician of Contemporary Library Calligraphy and Painting Arts Academy, committee member of Chinese Arts Research Institute, member of Chongqi Artists Association, senior honorary advisor of Singapore Shen Zhou Arts Academy, researcher of Research Association of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Celebrities. He has been concentrated on the study of the traditional western oil painting art for many years. His outstanding works like Tutor, Early Morning at the River, Root, A Kangba Boy had took part in national, provincial and municipal painting and calligraphy competitions and art exhibitions both home and abroad in the recent years and won prizes frequently. Many of his wonderful works are collected by collectors in China and overseas.
